The World Health Organization (WHO) has highlighted the severity of Pakistan's healthcare crisis by enlisting it among the 57 countries grappling with a critical shortage of health workers. This systemic deficiency is compounded by the poor overall quality of medical services, evidenced by the country's low placement at the 122nd position in global healthcare facility rankings. Crucially, this combination of limited staff and subpar infrastructure translates into tragic real world outcomes, as Pakistan is placed alarmingly high in the list of top countries suffering from extreme infant mortality rates.
Alkhidmat Health Foundation has established a countrywide network to provide best healthcare facilities to the public, irrespective of their socio-economic status. Several Hospitals, Clinics / Dispensaries, Diagnostic Centers and Blood Banks, Mobile Medical Camps and Ambulances are functional effectively across the country including landmark projects in the remote and under-developed areas such as Tharparkar (Sindh) and Quetta (Balochistan).
